What is GunZ Quest Mode?
In the original GunZ The Duel, Quest Mode was the PvE side of the game: a party of players fights through stages of monsters instead of each other, with a boss waiting at the end. RealGunz keeps that co-op format and runs it alongside the PvP modes, so you can switch between duels and monster runs whenever you like.
The movement that wins duels keeps you alive here too. Wall-runs and jumps get you out of a crowd, and sword-gun combos clear space fast when the monsters close in.
PvE modes on a GunZ The Duel private server
The RealGunz game mode list includes Quest Mode with PvE weapons, Challenge Quest, Survival and World Boss, so there is more than one way to play PvE here. Quest Mode is the classic co-op run, and Survival also pits your team against NPCs, with its kills tracked just like quest kills.
Each of these modes points your weapons at monsters instead of other players. That makes them a good break from ranked play, and a good place for newer players to practice movement under pressure without another player on the other end.
Team up or grind solo
Quest runs are better with friends. A full party can cover each other, keep the damage up and push through stages faster, and the RealGunz Discord is the easiest place to find a group.
If nobody is around at your hour, you can still grind on your own and build your kill count at your own pace. Either way, the rewards come from playing: boss fights and drops give you a reason to run it again, and every run adds to your totals on the rankings.
Climb the Top Quest Killer ranking
RealGunz tracks NPC kills on the game server. Every monster you finish in Quest or Survival adds to your character's NPC kill counter, and the Top Quest Killer ranking lists the players with the highest totals.
It works like the PvP Top Killers board, but for PvE grinders. The ranking updates automatically from live game data, so there is nothing to submit and no screenshots to send. Play, clear runs and check the board to see how you stack up against the rest of the server.
