Installer or ZIP - which one should I pick?
Both are the same game. The installer sets everything up for you; the ZIP is portable - extract it anywhere and run the launcher. If one mirror is slow, try another.
Windows or my antivirus blocks the game
Game clients from private servers are sometimes flagged as a false positive. Add the RealGunz folder to your antivirus / Windows Defender exclusions, then run the launcher as administrator.
The game will not start or shows a DirectX error
GunZ runs on DirectX 9. Install the DirectX End-User Runtime from Microsoft, update your graphics driver and start the launcher again.
